TWD - Triple Post!
Summer's over? I can hardly believe it. It seemed like the weeks of camping, travel and just hanging out with my hubby would never end. Now I'm faced with a month of renovation and plaster dust. I'm typing this quickly before the contractors arrive.
This week's dessert is cranberry upside-downer. It was chosen by Sabrina of the blog Superfluous. We enjoyed this cake and preferred it right from the fridge. Cold, it took on the consistency of pound cake and really brought the bite back into the cranberries. There was barely time to snap a photo before it was gone.

Everyone has a favourite peanut butter cookie recipe. Trust me, if you don't have this recipe, you're missing one of the best. Please go to Jasmine's blog Jasmine Cuisine and pick it up. You might wonder why roll a cookie in sugar. Does it really need more sugar? Just taste it. It's delicious.
Espresso shortbread was a subtly flavoured cookie. I didn't enjoy it as much as some other family members did. The texture was fine. I think next time, I'd add more espresso. The recipe was chosen by Donna of Life is Too Short Not To Eat Dessert First.
