TWD - Fold-over Pear Torte

Fold-over Pear Torte was a complete surprise.  No photo in the book to give me a clue about the fold-over.  So, I made it my own way and it worked perfectly.  There was lots of room for the high custardy filling.  I used very firm pears and, once baked, they were deliciously soft and sweet.

This recipe was chosen by Cakelaw of Laws of The Kitchen.  She's an extraordinary Aussie blogger whose posts I never miss reading.  The recipe for this dessert is on her blog now.
